Mr. A. Balasubramanian is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited and has been with the organization since 1994.

He brings with him over 26 years of experience in the Mutual Fund industry as Portfolio Manager both in Fixed Income and Equity. Prior to assuming the role of the CEO in 2009, Bala served as Chief Investment Officer from 2006-2009.

As CEO, Bala currently oversees more than US$ 33 billion (as of February 2019) Assets Under Management at Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC which is one of the largest Asset Manager in India. He also oversees global mandates through its subsidiary company in Singapore and Dubai, having assets of more than USD 2 billion (as of February 2019), apart from overseeing Alternate Investment Funds, Real Estate and PMS.

A very active contributor towards taking Indian Mutual Fund industry on a high growth path, Bala is closely associated with key Industry Bodies.

Currently, he is on the Board of Governors of National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), which is a SEBI established entity. He is also on the Committee of Corporate Bond Market Development of SEBI. Apart from these prestigious roles, he plays an active role in AMFI as a Board of Director. He has also held the position of Chairman of AMFI for 2 years from 2016-2018.

He has done his BSc in Mathematics and MBA, apart from being an Alumnus of IIM Bangalore and Harvard through Advanced Management Programme.

A. Dhananjaya has been with the Aditya Birla Group since January 2008. In his role as the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, Aditya Birla Capital Limited, Dhananjaya is responsible for overseeing the compliance and risk functions across all financial services businesses. This includes credit risk, investment risk, operational risk, regulatory affairs, corporate governance etc.

Dhananjaya has over three decades of experience, including institutions like Bank of America and ABN Amro Bank.

Dhananjaya completed his B. Tech degree from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal and PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Mr. Mahajan heads Business Development for Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Pte Ltd.* He has spent over 10 years with the Aditya Birla Group. He is based in Singapore and is responsible for all business in the Asia Pacific region. He has been instrumental in building a business that has over USD 2.5 billion in assets. The Singapore office manages client monies from Singapore, Korea, Japan and Thailand today.

Mr. Mahajan has a total experience of 16 years in Institutional Asset Management and Investment Advisory. He brings enormous experience of investing into the India Capital Markets having earlier worked in fixed income trading and sales in India. He was head of the institutional business in India before he moved to Singapore in 2007. He was then responsible for managing and advising the top institutions in India.

Earlier on in his career, Mr. Mahajan worked with Standard Chartered Bank and Shinsei Bank Group Japan.

Vikas spearheads the International Business at Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd (ABSLAMC). He also leads the strategic initiative to provide a strong platform of high quality product solutions for global investors investing in India across asset classes and also responsible for establishing ABSLAMC’s presence in new geographies.

Vikas brings with him over 18 years of work experience in financial services of which 13 years is in International markets, including asset management, private wealth management and investment advisory services.

Vikas has been with ABSLAMC since October 2008.

Prior to joining ABSLAMC, he was working with Citibank N.A. Dubai as Vice President and was responsible for managing wealth of ultra high net worth families. Prior to this, he worked at Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company in India looking after the Institutional sales and select large distribution partners. He has also worked with BNP PARIBAS and ICICI Capital Services in India in the Investment Advisory and Institutional business group.

Vikas holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Masters in Business Administration.

Mr. Vijay is responsible for formulation, facilitating execution and communication of Aditya Birla Capital’s Strategic Initiatives and it’s positioning with analysts, investors, and all internal and external stakeholders. He is also responsible for driving potential M&A opportunities and partnerships synergistic with Aditya Capital’s vision for growth.
Mr. Vijay is a seasoned banker with over two decades of diversified experience. Before joining Aditya Birla Capital, Mr. Vijay was CEO for Financial Services Business of Cyrus Poonawalla Group where he led successful integration of a large acquisition involving a pan India presence with over 8000 employees. He also spearheaded a few large strategic initiatives for the group.
Prior to that Mr. Vijay worked with ICICI Bank for over 15 years. Mr. Vijay is credited with setting up the highly successful Services Sector Franchise at ICICI Bank. He was also responsible for driving the Liability Strategy for Corporate ecosystem. Previously, he led the Loan Syndications practice at the Bank, ranking continuously among top 3 in the country. He has been a speaker at National and International forums like Asia Pacific Loan Management Association India Chapter and Global Transaction Banking Congress by Euromoney at Amsterdam.
Mr. Vijay is Post-Graduate in Management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Mr. Asher is an independent consultant on Public Financial Management and pension reforms. He stepped down from the National University of Singapore in June 2018 after 43 years. He studied in India and the United States. He has also taught in Japan’s Hitotsubashi University. He has consulted with many multinational institutions. He has published extensively international journals. He has published more than 15 books.

Mark Rogers has over 30 years of experience in financial services industry and is the currently the President of MCR Global Consulting. MCR Global Consulting helps organizations best penetrate target markets and helps all phases of distribution and market penetration including product development and analysis. Mark was earlier designated as the Senior Vice President Director of International Sales of Sun Life Financial Services (Bermuda) responsible for sales of offshore insurance and investment policies. Prior to joining Sun Life Financial Services (Bermuda), he has worked with MFS Investment Management holding positions of President MFS International, Executive Vice President / Managing Director MFS International (UK), Senior Vice President Insurance Products MFS and Senior Vice President Insurance and Independent Dealers.

Mr. Odtojan currently heads the Legal and Compliance Department at Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Pte Ltd.* He advises the company management, Board of Directors on all aspects of legal, regulatory, and compliance for offshore fund management business, covering Mauritius, Dubai and Singapore.

Mr. Odtojan has over 18 years of experience in legal, compliance and financial services, including private legal practice, asset management and private wealth management. Prior to joining ABSLAMC, Mr. Odtojan held senior positions at UBS Asset Management, Singapore Invesco Perpetual UK, and Credit Suisse Australia.

Mr. Odtojan is a registered solicitor in New South Wales, Australia and a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants.

He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business (Accounting) from University of Technology, Sydney and Bachelor of Law from University of Western Sydney, Australia.

Mr. Venkateswara Rao heads Operations for Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Pte. Ltd.* He has over 17 years of experience in Asset Management Industry of which 10 years are with Aditya Birla Group. He brings enormous wealth of experience in Operations, Products, Client Servicing, from Indian Asset Management industry.

Earlier on in his career, Mr. Venkateswara Rao worked with Karvy Consultants Ltd, IL&FS Asset management, and UTI Asset Management.

He holds a degree from The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India – ICWAI and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Osmania University.

Mr Iswaran currently heads Legal and Compliance Department at Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Pte Ltd. He advises the company management, Board of Directors on all aspects of legal, regulatory, and compliance.
He has over 15 years of experience handling compliance and regulatory affairs in Asset Management industry. Prior to joining ABSLAMC, Iswaran worked with major Investment Banks and Asset Management companies.
Mr Iswaran is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of ISCA Singapore.

Tanu Kejriwal joined Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Pte Ltd as Fund Manager. Tanu has over 13 years of buy-side experience in Equity markets with leading funds in Singapore and India. She has covered Global Equities, Asia ex-Japan equities and Indian equities. Her sector coverage has included primarily Industrials and Consumer.
Tanu started her investments career with Quantum Asset Management, Mumbai where she covered various sectors for 5 years before moving to Singapore. Subsequently, she worked with UOB Asset Management, Singapore for 8 years where she was the Lead Equity Analyst for Global Industrials.
Tanu is a CFA Charter holder from CFA Institute, US and completed her Bachelors in Commerce (Honors) from Delhi University. She also holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
